Saiu a lista dos indicados para o Gotham Awards 2021 e o mundo nerd não ficou de fora. Watchmen está na categoria de "Série inovadora- formato longo (mais de 40 minutos)" e Chadwick Boseman (nosso eterno Pantera Negra) foi indicado como melhor ator por A Voz Suprema do Blues.
Vale lembrar que a série da HBO, baseada nos quadrinhos de Alan Moore e Dave Gibbons, já tinha ganho outros quatro TV Critics Choice: Melhor Ator ou Atriz em Série Dramática (Regina King); Melhor Programa Novo; Melhor Telefilme, Minissérie ou Especial; e Programa do Ano.
O 30° Annual Gotham Awards acontece no dia 11 de janeiro de 2021 e serve como termômetro para o Oscar.
